Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek has officially left Liquid, ending a 16-month spell with the organization. The Polish in-game leader had been on the bench since July, when Liquid handed leadership duties to Johnny “JT” Theodosiou.
The departure closes a project that never found the sustained progress expected from siuhy’s arrival. He joined in April 2025 during a wider transition, but a sequence of roster changes, uneven tournament finishes and persistent T-side problems prevented the team from converting its talent into stable results.
siuhy addressed the outcome directly, saying that the results were not acceptable and that something had to change. He also said he had reflected on the experience and taken lessons forward. His statement confirms the separation without naming a next team or a timetable for returning to competition.
Liquid spent part of 2025 near the edge of the global VRS top ten, yet could not push beyond that range consistently. The surrounding lineup also changed: Twistzz moved to FaZe in a swap that brought EliGE to Liquid, while other adjustments failed to stop the decline.
Why the Liquid project failed to stabilize around siuhy
An in-game leader can change calling principles and preparation, but leadership is only one part of a functioning roster. Liquid had to integrate new players while defining roles and recovering from the departure of a star. Those tasks placed the team in continuing transition rather than allowing one structure to mature over a long period.
The reported T-side struggles were especially damaging because attack rounds expose coordination. A team must trade space, manage utility and agree on late-round options. When those pieces repeatedly break down, changing the caller becomes a direct organizational response even if the wider problems involve more than one person.
The verified sequence of siuhy’s Liquid spell is straightforward:

- He joined Liquid in April 2025 during a broader roster transition.
- The team remained around the edge of the global VRS top ten for part of that year.
- Roster changes and poor T-side results did not produce a lasting recovery.
- Liquid replaced siuhy with JT as in-game leader in July 2026.
- After time on the bench, siuhy confirmed his complete departure from the organization.
JT now leads a lineup listed with NAF, EliGE, malbsMd and Jorko, while flashie remains the coach. That gives Liquid a defined active group and separates its current work from the unresolved status of a benched former captain.
For siuhy, leaving removes the contractual uncertainty implied by a bench position. It allows him to evaluate projects on role authority, roster fit and competitive calendar rather than waiting for Liquid to decide whether he could return. The announcement does not confirm that another organization has already agreed a deal.
His next destination should be judged by more than reputation. A prospective team needs to decide whether it wants siuhy to control the system, how much time it can give him and whether the available players fit the pace and communication his calling requires.
What both sides need after the separation
Liquid must prove that the leadership change solves the problems that led to it. Better T sides, clearer role distribution and consistent event results would show that the new structure is working. If the same weaknesses continue, the organization will have to examine issues beyond the identity of the caller.
siuhy needs a project that treats the Liquid period as evidence to review rather than a complete measure of his ability. His own statement accepts that the results were poor, but reflection has value only when it changes preparation, communication or decision-making in the next roster.
The confirmed status after the announcement can be summarized without speculating about future moves.

| Subject | Confirmed status | Next question |
|---|---|---|
| siuhy | No longer with Liquid | Which project will offer his next IGL role? |
| JT | Liquid in-game leader since July | Can the new system improve attack rounds? |
| Liquid lineup | NAF, EliGE, malbsMd, JT and Jorko | Will the group achieve stable event results? |
| Coaching | flashie remains listed | How will practice support the revised leadership? |
| Transfer outlook | No destination announced | When will siuhy return to officials? |
The formal departure gives both parties a clean boundary after months in which siuhy was already outside the active five. Liquid can continue under JT without a parallel leadership question, while siuhy can seek a roster built around a clearly defined role.
No future team should be inferred from the announcement alone. The meaningful assessment will come when siuhy confirms his next move and Liquid shows whether its current structure can correct the competitive problems that shaped the end of his tenure.
